How It Works
One Workout, Start to Finish.
From building your routine to a Verified PR — here's exactly what happens in a Rack session.
Build your routine
Create workouts in the Rack iOS app — choose from 111+ exercises organized by muscle group. Set target sets, reps, and weights. Save templates for future use.
Start on your watch
Open Rack on your Garmin. Browse your saved routines and tap to start. Your watch takes over — no more phone in your pocket.
Log sets as you go
After each set, tap to log it directly on your wrist. Weight, reps, and RPE are recorded with your heart rate at that exact moment.
Hot-swap if needed
Cables taken? Hot-swap to any exercise mid-session. Your data stays clean and your volume tracking stays accurate.
DataBuffer syncs
Lost signal underground? Rack's DataBuffer holds everything on the watch. When you reconnect, it all flows through — nothing lost.
Session saved
Your workout summary appears in the iOS app: total volume, time under tension, HR zone breakdown by exercise, and muscle group heatmap.
PR detected
Rack automatically detects when you've set a personal record. It captures your HR, timestamp, and set data — stamped as a Verified PR you can share.
The Watch-First Philosophy
Most fitness apps treat the watch as an afterthought — a data collector that feeds a phone-centric experience. Rack flips this.
Your wrist is the primary interface. The phone is the sync target. This means no fumbling with your phone between sets, no distraction, no missed reps. Just lift.
